The International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecasts that economic growth in the Middle East and Central Asia region will rise from 3.7% in 2025 to 3.9% in 2026 and to 4.0% in 2027, APA-Economics reports, citing the IMF.
According to the information, the IMF has increased its regional economic growth forecast by 0.1 percentage points for 2026 and by 0.2 percentage points for 2027.
It was noted that this growth is supported by increased oil production, the resilience of domestic demand, and ongoing reforms.
