Russia's Krasnodar Territory and Samara Region came under drone attacks overnight on August 8, RBC-Ukraine reports.
The attacks caused fires at the Ilsky and Syzran oil refineries.
Governor of the Samara Region Vyacheslav Fedorishchev confirmed that one of the region's industrial enterprises had been targeted by a drone attack. According to him, emergency services are working at the scene.
The operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory, meanwhile, said that drone debris had fallen on the territory of the Ilsky oil refinery:
"A fire broke out at the Ilsky oil refinery as a result of falling drone debris. According to preliminary information, five people were injured," the statement reads.
