Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that many problems in his country's relations with neighboring countries have been resolved and relations have improved significantly, APA's Tehran bureau reports.
Pezeshkian noted in the final part of his televised interview that in the current war situation in the region, Israel and the US are trying to mobilize the Gulf countries against Iran, while Tehran is trying to prevent this.
The Iranian President said that the US and Israel are also trying to take advantage of the differences within the country.
According to Pezeshkian, Iran was not the one who started the war and was negotiating when the fighting began. He said that despite the other side's calculations, the process did not develop as they expected.
The Iranian President also said that the US is striking Iran from the territory of regional countries. According to him, Tehran does not want to target neighboring and friendly countries and responds only from the directions from which it is attacked.
