Azerbaijan military attachés and representatives convene for annual meeting

Pursuant to the activity plan approved for the current year, annual meeting was held with the participation of military attachés and military representatives serving at the Embassies of the Republic of Azerbaijan in foreign countries, the Ministry of Defense reports.
At the opening of the event, Chief of the International Military Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defense, Major General Elchin Abdullayev delivered a speech, providing detailed information on the development of military diplomacy, enlargement of international military cooperation, and key tasks ahead.
During the meeting, reports were heard from military attachés and representatives on the work carried out during the reporting period, the current state of bilateral military cooperation with the respective countries, as well as prospective areas of activity.
The meeting focused on prospects for the development of international military cooperation, and relevant tasks were assigned regarding the responsibilities of military diplomats.
Within the the event, representatives of the main departments and departments of the Ministry of Defense, as well as relevant government agencies, delivered presentations on current issues.
The military attachés and representatives subsequently visited the “Iglim” Scientific and Production Enterprise of the Ministry of Defense Industry, where they viewed production capabilities and innovations in the enterprise.
At the conclusion of the event, the participants visited Victory Park and took a group photo.
