“The Council of Europe resolution roughly states that the conflict entered the stage of large-scale military operations after the Saakashvili regime bombed Tskhinvali,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said in a statement to journalists on the 18th anniversary of the Russia-Georgia war, APA’s local bureau reports.
He noted that the conflict turning into a war means that the Saakashvili regime started the war.
“Unfortunately, the resolution does not say ‘the Saakashvili regime’; it says ‘the Georgian side’,” Kobakhidze added.
