$9 billion foreign investments allocated to Azerbaijan last year

The State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that in comparison to 2010 the amount of foreign investments in Azerbaijanâ€™s economy in 2011 increased.

â€œ49,5% of the investments (USD 4 293,8) entered as direct investments and 42,6% (USD 3 692,5) as financial creditsâ€, said the Committee.

$886 million foreign investments were allocated to the non-oil sector this year.
