Payments on AZIPS increase by 2.2 times in December

Baku. Vahab Rzayev - APA-Economics. The payments of credit companies via AZIPS (Azerbaijan Interbank Payment System) made AZN 17.067 bln, in December, 2011, up AZN 9.161 mln or 2.2 times compared to November and AZN 5.777 bln or 51.2% from year ago, CBA told APA.

Note that, the number of payments grew to 54,000.

The average volume of per payment in December was AZN 316.100 up 47.9% from a month ago, up 6.4% from a year earlier.
