Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of July 1, 2011 the total capital of commercial banks functioning in Azerbaijan stood at AZN 1,971.08 mln, up AZN 180.58 mln or 11.1% compared to a year ago.
At the same time, total capital went up AZN 73.98 mln or 3.9% from the beginning of year.
Note that, total capital consists of authorized capital and retained earnings.
