Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of June 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based banks’ assets stood at AZN 12.972 mln, up AZN 930.1 mln or 7.7% from year earlier.
At the same time, the assets have decreased by 2.4% or AZN 318.8 mln since beginning of 2011. Main decrease was observed in the first quarter and made AZN 569 mln. During next months, the assets rose AZN 120 mln in April, AZN 220.2 mln – in May.
