Amrahbank gets 21% rise in loan portfolio

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based Amrahbank’s assets stood at AZN 78.656 mln, down 22.7% from year earlier.

Bank says loan portfolio rose 20.4% to AZN 48.026 mln, including consumer lending soared 12.1% to AZN 28.667 mln, loan given for until 12 months decreased by 7.7% to AZN 13.960 mln, over 12 months – soared 37.5% to AZN 34.065 mln, overdue credits increased by 3.7 times to AZN 2.377 mln. Deposit portfolio grew 6.3% to AZN 43.754 mln, as well population’s deposit climbed 19.2% to AZN 28.892 mln, term deposit advanced 12.4% to AZN 27.257 mln, and demand deposit slipped 7.6% to AZN 15.642 mln.

Total capital gained 0.7% to AZN 20.796 mln, as well authorized capital surged 12.2% to AZN 14.387 mln.

Income ended up 10.9% to AZN 13.979 mln, expenses grew 25.5% to AZN 13.623 mln. Profit dropped 4.9 times to AZN 356 000.

Remind that, Amrahbank has been in operation since 1993. The bank operates 22 branches, 22 ATMs and 55 POS-terminals across the country.
