IMF: Azerbaijan to strengthen non-oil sector

According to him, for development of Azerbaijanâ€™s economy, it has to save the oil income for the future generations. IMF official told that world financial and economy crisis had not influenced Azerbaijan. Because Azerbaijan has taken every preventive measures.

According to him, Azerbaijan must to extend the regional and domestic infrastructure, at the existing situation. Because it is very important for diversification of national development.

He also made ah speech in several recommendations. Thus, Azerbaijani government must more active in involving of investors, reduce the taxes for investors, take necessary measures for development of non-oil sector, save the macroeconomic stability, take complex measures for strengthening and development of human resources.

Note that, this visit will last until February 15 and Ilahi intends to hold several meetings with government.
