Zamin Bank gets 29% growth in assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based in Bankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 242.791 mln, up 29.4% compared to a year ago.

Bank says deposit portfolio rose 31% to AZN 55.661 mln, including populationâ€™s deposit made AZN 48.471 mln, term deposit stood at AZN 41.809 mln, demand deposit at AZN 13.825 mln. Loan portfolio soared 33% to AZN 154.285 mln, consumer lending increased by 66% to AZN 44.651 mln, loan given for until 12 months was AZN 42.312 mln, for over 12 months stood at AZN 111.973 mln, overdue credits reached AZN 3.711 mln, loan given through bankâ€™s own program made AZN 8.883 mln.

Bank says total capital grew 34% to AZN 24.838 mln, authorized capital advanced 57% to AZN 20.722 mln.

Note that, total income surged 53.3% to AZN 21.540 mln, expenditure climbed 74% toAZN 20.080 mln. Profit slipped 42.2% to AZN 1.460 mln.

Remind that, Zamin Bank has been in operation since 1992. The bank operates 35 branches, 6 departments, Moscow Representation in Russia, 34 ATMs and 1 891 POS-terminals across the country.
