Baku. Elnur Hhuseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based AtaBank’s assets stood at AZN 217.854 mln, up 9.3% from year ago.

Bank says the loan portfolio decreased by 17% to AZN 106.159 mln, including consumer lending decreased by 5.6% to AZN 32.231 mln, loans given through AMF made AZN 8.308 mln, through bank’s own program stood at AZN 1.417 mln. Population’s deposit eached AZN 85.027 mln, term deposit – AZN 25.420 mln, demand deposit – AZN 32.820 mln, deposit portfolio slid 14.1% to AZN 143.267 mln.

Total capital rose 6.2% to AZN 26.675 mln, authorized capital oared 67% to AZN 25 mln.

Income decreased by 13.3% to AZN 22.319 mln, including interest income made AZN 18.462 mln, non-interest income stood at AZN 3.857 mln. Expenditure climbed 1.4% to AZN 22.049 mln, including interest expenditure stood at AZN 13.046 mln, non-interest expenditure reached AZN 8.155 mln. Profit slipped 93.2% to AZN 271 000.

Remind that, AtaBank has been in operation since 1993. The bank operates 23 branches, 54 ATMs and 283 POS-terminals across the country.
