Trial declared verdict on Azerbaijani citizen’s murder

In the trial, held in the Court for Serious Crimes, Lower Reina department of Elzas region, Strasbourg, the public prosecutor noted in his speech that the suspected had murdered deceased intentionally and underlined that the he is very dangerous for the society. Besides it, the public prosecutor drew attendees’ attention to the criminal background of 32-year old Nicola Stuzman, as he had been under criminal proceeding due to numerous acts of violence. At the end of his speech, the public prosecutor demanded the court to sentence Nicola Stuzman to 20 years of imprisonment.
On January 20, the court proved that the suspected had intensions to murder Orkhan Aghayev. Ultimately, the court declared its verdict on sentencing Nicola Stuzman to 15 years of imprisonment. Additionally, N. Stuzman is obliged to reimburse 50.000 EURO to Orkhan Aghayev’s family.
Deceased’s lawyer Mr. Elmrini told the reporters about reasonability of the declared verdict of guilty as the most of the jury members made sure that Stuzman had murdered Aghayev on purpose.
We remind, 18-year Orkhan Aliheydar Aghayev was killed in the tram in Strasbourg on January 7, 2008. His father Aliheydar Aghayev is owner of “Baki geceleri” (Baku nights) restaurant in Strasbourg.
