Aytunc Altundal: â€œDTP ban was coordinated with USâ€

Istanbul. Mayis Alizadeh â€“ APA. â€œDTP ban shouldnâ€™t be accepted as a surpriseâ€, Turkish publicist Aytunc Altundal told APA bureau in Turkey.

Altundal said if the political parties provided activity within the Constitution and laws, they wouldnâ€™t be banned. â€œBut DTP didnâ€™t provide activity of political party, but organization. Therefore it gets status of â€œterrorist organizationâ€ and was banned. Only in the following process of â€œinitiativeâ€, we can say that PKK comes to the beginning of endâ€.

Altundal said it was not accidental that DTP was closed after the Prime Minister Erdoganâ€™s visit to the United States. â€œYou see, DTP files saved in the courts for more than two years come to agenda just during the Erdoganâ€™s meeting in Washington and DTP was banned. It is clear that it was coordinated with the United States. US intend to put an end to PKK. DTP and its predecessors didnâ€™t bring any serious draft to the parliament. They chanted only â€œApoâ€ and â€œPKKâ€. There couldnâ€™t be such political party. They donâ€™t know what they want in the â€œinitiativeâ€ process, but are talking on behalf of terrorist organization. Such organizations are banned all over the world. Some statements are expected from Europe and US, which will be followed by the question of PKKâ€™s end. US declared them heroin smugglers and they have no chance to be savedâ€.
