He noted that gasoline import to Azerbaijan has already been stopped: “Gasoline price in Azerbaijan is very low. Even is the taxes are cancelled, no one will bring gasoline to Azerbaijan. Because imported gasoline is too expensive. SOCAR imported nearly 30,000 tonnes of gasoline when the plants are closed. That was unprofitable, but we fully met demand for gasoline. Despite the taxes on import have been cancelled, we faced loss of several million manats”.
