In January–September of this year, Azerbaijan's daily oil production (including condensate) amounted to 73,000 tons (547,000 barrels), the Ministry of Energy told APA-Economics.
According to the ministry, during the reporting period, crude oil production averaged 61,000 tons (446,000 barrels) per day, while condensate production stood at 12,000 tons (101,000 barrels) per day.
It should be noted that, according to the agreement reached by ministers of OPEC+ countries (an initiative to reduce oil production involving OPEC and non-OPEC countries), Azerbaijan's crude oil production quota stands at 551,000 barrels (74,259 tons) per day until the end of 2026.
Thus, during nine months of the year, Azerbaijan's crude oil production remained 105,000 barrels and 13,259 tons per day below its OPEC+ quota.
