“In 2010, the “Neftchi” housing-construction cooperative provided 1,826 oilmen with apartments. Currently, 3,392 people are standing on queue for apartments, of which 2,950 are in Baku, others in eth regions”, Abdullayev said.
He recalled that a few days ago a 9-floor residential building was launched in M. Hadi str., Khatai district on the occasion of professional holiday of oilmen: “More 144 oilmen were provided with houses. Currently, 7 residential buildings with 452 apartments are being built in Lokbatan settlement. 1 building with 96 apartments is planned to be constructed in Garachukhur settlement, 5 buildings with 272 apartments in Sumgayit. In the next years, 13 high-rise buildings with 820 apartments will be constructed in Bibiheybat settlement. A plot of land is planned to be allocated in Buzovna settlement for construction of private houses for workers standing in a queue”.
