SNAM intends to buy 30% share in DESFA

It’s reported Skurletis intends to accelerate the privatization process of DESFA by intensifying the negotiations.

“The minister wants to explain the amendments to the law. After these amendments, DESFA assets reduced about €200 million. This caused dissatisfaction of Azerbaijani side”, said the Reporter agency.

The agency also says that Skurletis also intends to meet with SOCAR president soon. The minister is expected to make new proposals on DESFA to SOCAR President.

Voria agency claims that Snam intends to buy 30% share of SOCAR in DESFA, but not 17%: “Italians are ready to discuss details of this issue with SOCAR”.
