“We are ready to work on importing electricity from Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan,” said President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his speech at the Summit meeting of Azerbaijan, Turkiye, and Turkmenistan held in Awaza, APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports.
He stressed that the sides should start working on the transportation of natural gas of Turkmenistan to the West market.
He also highlighted the great significance of the Middle Corridor passing through the three countries: “We completed the significant part of this corridor through Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway. We should facilitate border crossings and customs procedures. Removing duties or making price cuts for cargo carriers of all three countries will increase our trade turnover”.
