"Taking into account the GDP of the world's countries, the OTS states cover a distance of up to 13th place with Türkiye and 130th place with Kyrgyzstan among 184 countries," said MP Ali Masimli at today’s session of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament), APA reports.
He said that if the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) countries unite their strengths, we can reach the 7th position among 184 countries in the world: "OTS countries could rise from 7th to 5th place if they maintain their current growth rate in the medium term. The economic growth rate of the OTS countries is higher than the world growth rate. The OTS will achieve a very high level as a unified power center."
