An Armenian citizen wanted under an Interpol Red Notice has been detained in Georgia, APA's local bureau reports, citing the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The detainee was placed on the international wanted list at the request of Armenian law enforcement authorities on charges of murder committed by a group, hooliganism, and illegal carrying of firearms.
The Armenian citizen was apprehended in Tbilisi as a result of investigative measures carried out in Georgia.
Extradition procedures prescribed by law are currently underway regarding the detainee.
