In January-September of this year, consumers in the retail trade network spent 2,785.1 million manats on gasoline and diesel fuel alone, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.
This indicator exceeded the indicator of the corresponding period of 2024 by 7.8%.
Recall that last year, consumers in the retail trade network spent 3 billion 423.1 million manats on gasoline and diesel fuel alone, which is 5.5% more than the previous year.
It should be noted that oil in Azerbaijan is refined at the Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery, founded in 1953. The plant fully meets the republic's demand for oil products. Currently, reconstruction and modernization work is underway at the refinery.
