Azerbaijan's plastic export revenues decrease by 5%

In January–October of this year, Azerbaijan exported 327,189 tons of plastics and plastic products worth 317 million 420 thousand US dollars, the State Customs Committee told APA-Economics.

According to the information, this is 4.6% and 6.3% less, respectively, compared to the same period last year.

In 10 months, the export of plastics and plastic products accounted for 1.47% of Azerbaijan’s total exports and 10.62% of non-oil sector exports.

In the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 265,789 tons of plastics and plastic products worth 483 million 883 thousand US dollars. This is 8.6% and 8.7% more, respectively, in annual comparison.

During this period, the import of plastics and plastic products amounted to 2.52% of the country’s total imports.
