“It is planned to put 7 Gwt green energy production capacities into use in Azerbaijan by 2030,” said Orkhan Zeynalov, the Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, while speaking at the 12th International Caspian Energy Forum, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, 2 Gwt of the mentioned indicator will be used to supply domestic demand, and the rest will be directed to export. Thus, 4 Gwt of produced green energy will be exported through the "Caspian-Black Sea-Europe" corridor, and 1 Gwt will be exported through the "Azerbaijan-Türkiye-Europe" corridor.
