Baku. Anakhanim Hidayatova – APA. “I consider that the pre-election debates of presidential candidates were quite active,” said Secretary General of the IPA CIS Alexey Sergeev.
He noted that the IPA CIS mission has participated in the opening of the voting process at a polling station: “Members of IPA CIS group of international observers are observing the voting process at a number of polling stations across the country. The presidential elections have been organized at the highest level.”
The IPA CIS group of international observers includes 30 people. The coordinator of the group is Leonid Slutsky, a coordinator of the Russian State Duma's committee on CIS affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots.
