Baku. Mubariz Aslanov - APA. Press conference on the presidential elections has been held at the headquarters of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP).
Deputy chairman, executive secretary of YAP Ali Ahmadov said the voting started at 08:00 and ended at 19:00.
According to initial informtion, YAP leader Ilham Aliyev has won again.
"With the support of the people Ilham Aliyev will rule Azerbaijan for another five years. According to the results of the exit-polls, Ilham Aliyev has won 83% of the votes. We hope the Central Election Commission will declare the results soon," he said.
Ali Ahmadov said according to the initial information, the voter turnout was 70%.
