A memorial evening dedicated to the memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, was held in Moscow, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
The event, organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Russian Federation, was attended by Mikhail Galuzin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, prominent Russian political and public figures, representatives of foreign embassies accredited in Moscow, and members of the Azerbaijani diaspora.
The guests of the evening familiarized themselves with a photo exhibition dedicated to Heydar Aliyev. The photo exhibition displayed photographs dedicated to various stages of the life and multifaceted activities of the Great Leader.
In his speech, Mikhail Galuzin stated that the memory of Heydar Aliyev lives on in Russia. He said, “We will always remember him as a prominent statesman, a distinguished son of the Azerbaijani people, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, and, of course, as a figure symbolizing our glorious shared history.”
