97 initiative groups apply to constituencies to provide pre-referendum campaign

Baku. Elnur Mammadliâ€“APA. 97 initiative groups applied the relevant constituencies so far to provide campaign for the referendum on the constitutional annexes and amendments to take place on March 18. Press service of the Central Election Commission told APA 97 initiative groups covered 90 constituencies at all. Every group needs in 100 votersâ€™ signatures to be registered in one electoral district. Several groups can not provide free campaign in the territory of one constituency. They can only hold meetings with the voters, prepare posters and to provide campaign on TV, radio and newspapers broadcasted and issued only in the territory of one constituency. 10 initiative groups applied to the Central Election Commission to provide campaign throughout the country.
