Initiative Group of Public Organizations set up in connection with constitutional referendum in Azerbaijan

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA. Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation and a number of NGOs set up Initiative Group of Public Organizations in connection with amendments and annexes to the Constitution, APA reports. Addressing the event chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation Settar Mehbaliyev said the Initiative Group will raise awareness on referendum and take active part in the referendum. The group will appeal to Central Election Commission for registration today.

President of National NGO Forum Rauf Zeyni, chairman of â€œIreliâ€ Public Union Jeyhun Osmanli and representatives of other public organizations appreciated the proposed amendments and annexes to the Constitution and underlined the importance of action program of the Initiative Group.
