Nakhchivan. J. Gurbanoglu – APA. Referendum initiative group was set up in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic to promote referendum act on amendments and annexes to Azerbaijan’s Constitution. APA’s local bureau reports that at the constituent meeting 723 passed a decision to set up the initiative group “For Azerbaijanâ€.
Responsible representative of 5-men referendum initiative group and 2 responsible representatives of the initiative group on financial issues were confirmed at the meeting.
At the end of the constituent meeting decision was made to send a notification to Nakhchivan ConEC #4 about establishment of the initiative group “For Azerbaijanâ€.
The referendum will be held on March 18 this year.
