ANS was not discussed at PACE Political Committee

â€œThe closure of ANS and were not discussed at the session of PACE Political Committee in Bakuâ€?, PACE Political Committee chairman Abdulqadir Atesh told APA.
He said that the Azeri officials would have answered if any question concerning ANS had been asked.
â€œBut no one asked this questionâ€?, he said. PACE Monitoring Committee co-reporter on Azerbaijan Tony Lloyd send him a letter concerning both ANS and media freedom situation, Abdulqadir Atesh said.
â€œI distributed the letter among committee members. The letter read that the event is not politically motivatedâ€?, he noted. The issue will also be reflected in the report of the Monitoring Committee.
The chairman said that the issue concerning Iranâ€™s nuclear program will also be discussed in the session. CE reporter made a report on this issue. Abdulqadir Atesh also took a stance on non-participation of Armenian delegation.
