According to Philippe Blanchart, but what is really special about Azerbaijan, is definitely its cultural diversity and religious tolerance: “Indeed, we have here a laic country with a rich cultural patrimony and a philosophical open-minded spirit. Azerbaijan’s economy has been one of the most performing ones in the entire world over the past decade, and has now really positioned the country as an economic key-player for Europe in the near future. This economic drive is crucial to continue to build a society based on international democratic values.”
