Baku. Shahriyar ALizadeh - APA. Chairman of Azerbaijani State Committee for Work with Diaspora Nazim Ibrahimov has met with the popular public figure of the US California State of Jewish origin Sharon Nazarian, who is on a visit to Baku.
Press service of the committee told APA that Ibrahimov informed about the activity of organization headed by him, mentioned importance of the development of existing cooperation between Azerbaijani and Jewish Diaspora Organizations.
In his turn, Nazarian offered to start cooperation between Y&S Nazarian Family Foundation and State Committee on Work with Diaspora. She said that this cooperation will contribute to enhancing the relations between Azerbaijani and Jewish Diaspora Organizations. The guest invited Ibrahimov to make speech on Diaspora policy at the University of California.
Ibrahimov said his organization is always ready for such cooperation. The Chairman of the Committee said he hopes that establishment of such relations will have positive results.
