Armenian businessman transferring money into account of Azerbaijani diaspora in Ukraine faces pressure

Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. Armenian businessman, who transferred money into account of Azerbaijani diaspora due to the discrepancy with his compatriots in Lugansk, Ukraine, is facing pressure.

Congress of Azerbaijanis in Lugansk province told APA that Armenian businessman Robert said he, his family and relatives are undergoing pressures and threats by the Armenian Diaspora organizations and businessmen.

He said that they are threatened not only by Armenian organizations in Ukraine, but also those in Russia and Armenia.

He was unofficially warned against going to Armenia.

Well-known Armenian businessman Robert (last name not disclosed for security) who is living in Lugansk transferred large amounts of money intended for the Armenian Diaspora organization into the fund of Azerbaijani diaspora organization. The amount of the transferred funds hasn’t been disclosed.

He said that the cause of his action was a discrepancy occurred between him and Armenian diaspora organization. Criticizing the biased position of the Armenian diaspora organization against the Azerbaijanis and other Turkic peoples living in the region, he expressed his protest in this way.

The businessman said that he would continue transferring funds intended for the Armenian diaspora organization into the account of Azerbaijani diaspora organization.
