According to him, no one has the right to touch the national values: “The number of calls by our compatriots to the “hotline” of the Congress has dropped several times after the Russian authorities announced Russia’s position regarding the incident in West Biryulevo region of Moscow. Although we received 100 calls shortly after the incident, we received 25 calls yesterday and 3 today. The Azerbaijanis, whose documents have already been checked in Moscow and other regions of Russia, are not oppressed.”
Hajiyev said that those who called yesterday and today want to come to Russia from Azerbaijan or to Azerbaijan from Russia: “Those who want to come to Russia to live and work are interested in necessary documents. We don’t receive complaints about the facts of oppression. Simply, we are asked about the Russian march to be held in Moscow and Russia’s regions on November 4.”
The Executive Director said that our compatriots asking questions about "Russian march" were urged not to be concerned: “An authorized rally should be held within the law. The Russian people are very cultured, but there are some subversive groups with different interests. Thus, we call on our compatriots to be careful on that day. Russia also knows that highlighting national issues is unacceptable in the country. We mainly recommend our citizens to keep their documents in order, respect local people, act in accordance with the law. If offended irrelevantly, they can appeal to us and the Russian government.”
