A roundtable on the theme â€œArmenian falsification and vandalism: what Azerbaijani journalists think about it?â€ has been held in Baku State University today, APA reports. Rector of the university Abel Maharramov noted that Armenians were transferred to the Caucasus 200 years ago and all historians knew it. Despite this, Armenians carry on false propaganda in the world and claim that they have been living in these territories since the ancient times.
â€œEven in some cases they manage to persuade some outstanding persons in this propaganda. We always speak about tragedies, but it does not go beyond Bilajari. There should be a policy pursued by politicians. There should be a state program concerning it. We should make a turning point. The state, politicians should have the strategic line,â€ he said.
The parliamentarian underlined that Azerbaijanis underwent deportation and genocide by Armenians in the past century several times.

Professor Anar Isgandarov delivered a speech on the theme â€œThe truths and falsification of 1915â€. According to him, no Armenian genocide was committed in 1915, they were transferred from one place to another by the Ottoman state for their security.

Slide describing the historical documents on Armeniansâ€™ transferring to the Caucasus was demonstrated at the event.
Parliamentarians Sabir Rustamkhanli, Fazil Mustafa, Jala Aliyeva, Aydin Mirzazadeh and political analyst Mubariz Ahmadoglu made speeches on the theme.
