â€œGenocideâ€ documentary dedicated to Genocide Day of Azerbaijanis â€“ March 31 presented - <font color=red> UPDATED - PHOTOSESSION</font>

The film has been made by Eurasian Institute for International Studies Public Union. Film is about the people who lost parents, relatives during Guba genocide on March 31 in 1918 committed by Armenians. Scenario and director is Etibar Mammadov, Editor is Kamala Pashayeva, scientific reviewer is Musa Gasimli and main advisor is MP Ganira Pashayeva.

Delivering a speech chief of Eurasian Institute for International Studies Public Union, Gunel Pashayeva spoke about genocides committed by Armenians in different regions of Azerbaijan. To her, nearly 700 000 Azerbaijanis were savagely killed during genocides in 1918-20. Pashayeva said that the film would be demonstrated at TV channels of Azerbaijan, the English version of the film would be presented in US and some countries of Europe in April. Besides, the film will be distributed to international community via Foreign Ministry, Committee on Affairs with the Diaspora, state and non-governmental organizations, Diaspora organizations. Pashayeva noted that the film had been shot in Guba region. Opinions of representatives of other nations subjected to genocide in Guba besides Azerbaijanis have also been reflected in the film.

Then the film was demonstrated.

After the demonstration of the film chief of the State NGO Support Council Azad Guliyev said that the film had affected him. To him, it is important that the film sounds narrated by living witnesses of those events.

Director of the Institute of History Yagub Mahmudov said that such films should be more. He encouraged some NGOs to stop working with the United States and other countries, and to begin serving his homeland.

MP Ganira Pashayeva noted that sounded in the film stories by living witnesses had great influence. In her view, movies on this theme have shown overseas: â€œThrough these films we need to bring our word to the ordinary people of the world. Politicians and so has its own, formed opinion. We try to bring facts about those who choose these politiciansâ€. She said that she was ready to help in this matter to any NGOs, any initiative group and any person. "If we act quickly, then we will be able to bring the truth to the world community.

Deputies from Guba region, director of the film and others delivered speeches too.
Note that, MPs, historians, students, representatives of cinema society also attended the presentation ceremony.
