Bishkek hosts international forum on Central Asian peaceful co-existence culture – <font color=red> PHOTOSESSION </font>

The forum was organized by the Kyrgyz Government Agency of Culture, International Platform Dialogue Eurasia, and Kyrgyz Organization of Dialogue Eurasia.
President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev received the participants of the forum before the event. The president was awarded by the Chingiz Aytmatov Medal.

In his opening speech at the forum, chairman of the Dialogue Eurasia Platform Nurlan Orazalin spoke about the activity of his organization and efforts made for the peaceful co-existence of the peoples.

Chief of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Kaniberk Coroyev welcomed the participants on behalf of President Kurmenbek Bakiyev, who welcomed the Dialogue Eurasia activity in uniting Eurasian intellectuals, scientists and cultural figures, in the fields of globalization, peace and stability and understanding in the region. He also reminded about the contribution of the great Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aytmatov to the Dialogue.

Chairman of the Azerbaijan parliament’s culture committee, MP Nizami Jafarov addressed the forum on behalf of the Azerbaijani delegation. He said Dialogue Eurasia had good traditions and reminded about the Bishkek meeting, which pacified the tensions in the Caucasus.

Jafarov spoke about the activity of Dialogue Eurasia Azerbaijan Bureau and Azerbaijani writer Anar, who was elected the chairman of the Dialogue for two terms.

Then member of the Kyrgyz parliament Zaideddin Kurbanov, Turkish parliamentarian Irfan Gunduz, co-chairman of Dialogue Eurasia Harun Tokak, Deputy Chairman of the Kyrgyz religious organization Sardali Subanagiyev addressed the forum.

The forum extended its work in the panel discussions. Adviser to the president of Tajikistan Nodir Odilov spoke about the historic fundaments of the peaceful co-existence of the Central Asian peoples.

The forum purposes to investigate opportunities of joint action for improvement of border, customs and other legislature between the Central Asian countries, to discuss prospects of extension of political, economic and cultural ties between the Central Asian countries, to secure territorial integrity of the countries, to search ways of cultural cooperation for strengthening of ties and friendship between the nations, to develop cooperation in the field of education, to analyze opportunities for joint struggle against terrorist and separatist organizations and to estimate prospects of cooperation between the media organizations.

Azerbaijani delegation consisted of the Chairman of Azerbaijan Writers Union Anar, MP Nizami Jafarov, APA Director General Vusala Mahirgizi, ITV News and Analytical Program Director Anar Yusifoglu, journalist Gulu Maharramli, professor of the Caucasian University Farhad Mehdiyev, Dialogue Eurasia coordinator in Azerbaijan Mustafa Saatci and leader of the Dialogue Youth Organization Anar Garakhanchalli also joined the forum.
