"Climate change is becoming a problem for all mankind," Chair of the Culture Committee of Milli Majlis (Parliament) of the Republic of Azerbaijan Fazil Mustafa said at a conference on "Increasing the role of civil society in the field of ensuring ecological balance and human rights", APA reports.
During his speech, he talked about the main point of the COP29 event to be held in Azerbaijan this year: "The holding of COP29 in Azerbaijan is the next success of ours. Therefore, we should evaluate the materials of this conference in the sense that they will open new horizons for future researches."
Fazil Mustafa stated that there is a need to stimulate the research on climate change.
The Member of the Parliament also proposed to research the climate change, ecology at Garabagh University.
