A major fire has broken out at a manufacturing facility in the Nasirabad industrial area of Iran’s Tehran Province, leaving one person dead and five others injured, Iran’s Fars News Agency reports.
The incident occurred at a facility producing lighters and lighter gas.
One person was killed and five others were injured in the blaze. All of the injured were taken to hospital for treatment.
Shervin Tabrizi, spokesperson for Tehran Emergency Medical Services, said authorities received a report about the fire at around 7:20 a.m. local time. Emergency medical teams and specialized vehicles were dispatched to the scene.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
