United States Vice President JD Vance underlined on Thursday that the Trump administration will not "advertise how we are going to engage with the Iranians," after being asked if Washington would provide "direct support for dissidents", APA reports.
"There are a lot of things that we are doing to try to put pressure [on the Iranian regime] ... There are a lot of additional tools we have at our disposal," Vance told reporters, sharing that some of those will be used while others won't.
He insisted that "everything ... is on the table," from economic to military, diplomatic, and covert pressure. Vance insisted that negotiations with Tehran will not resume unless the latter stops targeting commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
