Tajikistan is committed to the goals and principles of the Baku Process, Tajikistan's Minister of Culture Matlubakhon Sattoriyon said during a discussion titled "From Partnership to Joint Action: Strengthening Global Cooperation for Intercultural Dialogue in the Age of Artificial Intelligence" within the framework of the special joint session of the 3rd High-Level Meeting of International Organizations and the 6th Meeting of Ministers under the Baku Process in Baku, APA reports.

According to her, the success of joint efforts depends on prioritizing common interests, the equal participation of states, and ensuring that technological achievements serve sustainable development.

The minister stated that technological progress should not be accompanied by harm to cultural sustainability and the marginalization of languages with limited digital resources.

"On the contrary, it should expand opportunities for the preservation and development of national and cultural values, historical memory and language. That is precisely why, in Tajikistan, the protection of cultural sovereignty and ensuring the full participation of national languages and cultures in artificial intelligence systems are regarded as an important and reliable partnership within the framework of interstate and international cooperation in the technology sector."

Matlubakhon Sattoriyon said that artificial intelligence should become one of the main tools for preserving cultural heritage and expanding mutual understanding, rather than an additional factor contributing to cultural inequality or alienation among peoples.
