According to recent reports, attackers actively use artificial intelligence technologies in one out of every six cyberattacks, Ilkin Javadov, founder and CEO of the CyberHackCon 2026 international ethical hacking conference, said at the opening of the event, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, artificial intelligence technologies are also used in more than 80% of social engineering attacks.
Javadov noted that the widespread use of artificial intelligence leads to an approximately 35% increase in cyber fraud cases.
"Artificial intelligence does not belong only to attackers. This technology also creates opportunities for defenders who adopt it more quickly, use it more effectively and keep pace with developments," he emphasized.
