It is difficult for any single country to solve today's global challenges alone, Uzbekistan's Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov said at a special joint session of the 3rd High-Level Meeting of International Organizations and the 6th Ministerial Meeting within the framework of the Baku Process, APA reports.
He stated that, therefore, the approach to international cultural cooperation should be further expanded.
"Under such circumstances, we must recognize an important truth: humanity's technological progress must not be separated from its spiritual progress. The era of artificial intelligence should not be understood merely as new computer programs or automated technologies. It is a new era in which the ways people acquire knowledge, create information, engage in creativity, communicate and understand the world are undergoing fundamental changes," the Uzbek minister emphasized.
He noted that regardless of what technologies are developed or how much the world changes, humanity's need for peace, compassion, mutual respect and its cultural roots will never disappear.
"I believe that the Baku forum will serve as an important platform for translating international cooperation into concrete and joint practical steps towards this noble goal," he said.
