Azerbaijan has great potential in the agriculture and food sector, in modernizing these areas and increasing local added value, Theresa Lünemann, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Azerbaijan, said during her speech at the German-Azerbaijani Business Conference held in Baku.

According to her, German companies have much to offer in terms of expertise, innovative technologies and sustainable solutions.

"We are witnessing the dynamic development of bilateral relations between Germany and Azerbaijan. However, as you probably know, political commitments, while important, are not always sufficient for taking practical and concrete steps. Therefore, I am very pleased that today's event brings together German and Azerbaijani business representatives and that all of you are interested in exploring opportunities for cooperation. I hope that today's discussions and exchange of views will lead to concrete partnerships to make use of this potential," she said.
