Baku. Ulkar Rashidgizi – APA. Armenians are being represented with “Karabakh travel” company at “Top Resa 2012” international tourism exhibition held in Paris. The spokesperson of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Zohra Aliyeva told APA that Azerbaijan has been representing at the above mentioned exhibition and that during their first participation Armenians exhibited “Karabakh” stand: “We protested against it then and managed the stand to be removed. The ministry of Culture and Tourism as well as the Azerbaijani Embassy in France were involved in this issue. And this time taking into considerations Armenians provocations we tried not to allow their wish to come true again. We have already taken relevant measures beforehand. I want to say that Armenians tried once again to exhibit Nagorno Karabakh stand. But we protested again. Then they demonstrated their “Karabakh Travel” Stand instead of the previous one”.

Z. Aliyeva said that Azerbaijani side demanded the organizers to remove the above mentioned stand too. But they said it was impossible as “Karabakh Travel” was the name of an Armenian company and that Armenia had a right to call its Company as it wished. I should stress that, the Armenian stand was very poor in compare with Azerbaijan’s. Our stand consisted of the special information ,maps, CD’s, albums of the occupied territories ofAzerbaijan such as Shusha, Khankendi”.

About the information in Armenian press on destruction of “Karabakh Travel” by Azerbaijanis, Zohra Aliyeva called it a lie and next sabotage by Armenians: “The information in Armenian press on destruction of Garabagh Travel by Azerbaijanis is baseless. Members of Azerbaijani delegation, all Azerbaijanis have a high culture and are aware of all international laws. This is the next sabotages and lies of Armenians. We informed the organizers about this information and they made a strong protest. This has never happened before and is impossible now”.

Azerbaijani delegation includes deputy chief of the Tourism Division of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Rauf Pashayev, Executive Advisor in the Ministry Leyla Verdiyeva, Press Secretary of the Ministry Zohra Aliyeva, Director of Baku Tourism Information Centre Zakir Aliyev and two executives of Azerbaijan TV and Radio Broadcasting Company.

4 local tourism companies – Geo Travel, Gilan Tourism, Millennium Tourism and Congress DMC and SW Travel companies are represented in the exhibition. A board reflecting Azerbaijan’s tourism opportunities was set in the area of 71.25 m². Besides, Azerbaijan Airlines has a special place in the board. Different ad-printing products, as well as other publicity materials in English and French are distributed to the visitors and participants of the exhibition.
