Today, an award ceremony of winners of essay contest “What do I know about Azerbaijan?” amongst the youth of members of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (O.I.C.) countries was held in Baku.
Deputy Minister of Youths and Sport Intigam Babayev said that this contest has been holding since 2011 and nearly 500 people from 50 countries have won the contest.
Babayev said those who want to participate in the contest submit their essay on different topics: “As a result of the contest, the winners from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Indonesia, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Morocco, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan and Turkey will be on a visit to Azerbaijan on September 14-26. During the visit, the winners will have opportunity to know more about Azerbaijan”.
