Baku. Ilhama Isabalayeva – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Labor and Social Protection is setting special rules for the payment of new presidential grants to war veterans, said Vugar Hasanov, pension policy officer of the ministry.
Azerbaijani president signed a decree on September 9 to set grants for war veterans.
He added that the payment of grants to veterans will be launched in October.
The amount of the presidential grant is AZN 90 for Group I veterans, AZN 70 for Group II veterans and AZN 50 for Group III veterans.
Grants will be issued to about 15 300 people.
