The second "Turkmen Heritage: Solidarity of Civil Societies" Forum was held at the International Mugham Center in Baku, APA reports. The event was organized by the "Bridge" Center for Turkmen Heritage Research Public Union in partnership with the Agency on State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The forum brought together about 30 representatives of civil society organizations from Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Türkiye. The event aimed to preserve Turkmen heritage, promote shared historical and cultural values, and strengthen cooperation and solidarity among civil society organizations.
Speaking at the opening ceremony were Rizvan Nabiyev, Deputy Minister of Culture Saadat Yusifova, Arshad Al-Salihi, Tarik Sulo Cevizci, Khalid Ghani, Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis and academician Rafael Huseynov, Member of Parliament Tanzila Rustamkhanli, Chairman of the Fuzuli Cultural Center in Iraq Hashim Kamil Mustafa, and Chairman of the "Bridge" Center for Turkmen Heritage Research Orkhan Isayev.
